An extension of The Microscope (some call it poetry)

It is what it is: UP!&Down,
#TheRollerCoaster
“Dedicated to those who truly believe in the deep value of Friendship as a form of Love and in the immense significance of a Promise. And to all those who, however it turns out, don’t really know how to get down from roller coasters.
To all of you who find reading me pleasurable. To those who have always been there for me, and who’ll continue to be. And to those who aren’t, anymore. And to those who, in any case, have had and will always have their ‘because’ in my life.“
After the release of her novel, Meeting Laura, came the surprise arrival of The Microscope. A collection of snapshots immortalized with a pen, the author’s first collection of poetry, a series of texts written in one go, which for many evoke the style of Japanese haiku for their immediacy and their ability to arrive directly and frankly to the heart of each reader through images and sensations. After a few months, Anna “Annina” Lorenzi quickly returns to once again evoke emotions in a second collection, which integrates with and extends the previous one.

Intro: Two Words from the Author
This new collection of poetry is for me an extension and natural completion of the preceding one, which came out just a few months ago. It’s a kind of “link” between the pre-, post- and (in part) “during” of my life’s chapter that was The Microscope. A collection of snapshots immortalized with a pen. An extremely beautiful, intense and stupefying chapter that is finished … unfortunately. Around it, though, was more than a world. A world worth painting and recounting. I’m happy to share with you this book, with all its honest and sincere spontaneity.
I’ll reveal a secret to you, too. The original “Extra Snapshot” of The Microscope, which has never before been published, well, you’ll find it among these pages. And it really began with … “The Roller Coaster…”
Because, maybe, all of us are born with tickets in our pockets for at least one go on the roller coaster,
only no one ever knows how long it will last, and what effect it will have. Getting on and trying our best is the only thing we can do. The rest, then, is to be seen. At least, that’s what I believe, so…
Enjoy! Up&Down!!!
And live all these “goes”.

Italian contemporary poetry by Anna “Annina” Lorenzi.
