always the same ones,
in a loop.
A right hook buries deep into the stomach,
Poetry hits you in the face
with its entire effect.
Hot tears create new pathways,
slipping slowly
on faces.
As happens, rarely,
maybe never.
And just maybe it’s exactly what was needed.
In unison move
fingers on the keyboard
and legs under the wooden table.
The soul jumps,
energy hits,
