Contenuto.

Chi sbirciò dentro dove mai s’è perduto?

Ma non è solo il chi a dettar le ragioni
Esiste anche il come, il quando e il perché.

(Esistono eccome, oh povera me!)

Esiston le scuse e i passati ingombranti,
Esistono i furbi e anche gli ignoranti.

Esistono i bravi, i giusti e i cattivi,
gli ingenui, gli stolti e quelli emotivi.

Esiste chi mente e chi invece è sincero.
Esiste chi finge e chi ha un animo vero.

Esiste chi affronta, chi vuol dialogare,
Esiste chi scappa e non ne vuol più parlare.

E poi esisterei anch’io
Che non sarò mai ‘sto granché,

Però ci proverei ancora
A dare il meglio di me.

Who peeks into where they were never lost?

But it isn’t only the who dictating the reasons
There’s also the how, the when and the why.

(They exist, and how, oh poor me!)

There are the excuses and the awkward pasts,
There are the sneaky and also the ignorant.

There are the good, the just, and the bad,
the naïve, the idiotic, and the emotional.

There are those who lie, and those on the other hand who are sincere.
There are those who pretend, and those who have a real soul.

There are those who face up, who want to dialogue,
There are those who run away, and who don’t want to talk anymore.

And then there’s me, too,
Who won’t ever be much of a big deal,

But I’ll try, again,
To do my best.
