The slow lifting of the fog,
a light breeze moves the tops
of the trees resigned to the fall,
messily, barely caressing them.
The sharp smell of humid earth and of iron, cement,
of trains ready to leave for the sea
or for delirious cities.
The smell of coffee
of a forced reawakening,
of desert paths, abandoned, still for a bit.
An unusual morning. (…)
