I’ll protect your silences,
the time you need,
your instants of peace,
your space, your world.

I’ll protect your words
and your promises,
each and every one of your truths,
whether they’re doubts or certainties.

And if you stumble on a memory
that will know how to hurt you,
I’ll find a way
to be able to drive it off.

So that your dreams
can always be serene
and your true smiles
every day sincere.

I’ll protect your choices
and your decisions,
right or wrong,
all your sensations.

Because I would like it if nothing bad existed
that could hurt you,
and that a cure existed
that could always heal you.

I’ll protect, then, your heart
and everything that it contains
so that, wherever you are,
you can really be well, feel good.
