It’s foggy, today.
The first fog of the year.
Up until a bit ago, it was a really beautiful white sheet. It’s foggy, today.
The sun won’t show up.
Trees, lawns, streets, and buildings get all mixed up in the gray nuances. The air smells
of damp earth, of fertilizer, and cement.
And of a November by now just around the corner.Sssssssh.
Be quiet. It’s time to be silent.
Everyone.Not a phrase,
not a word, not a sign.Silence. (…)
Beyond the window sill,
I imagine the horizon.
The smoke of my Winston loses itself
in the shadows of the evening.
