(…) But I’ll turn the sun on if you want to warm yourself,
and I’ll uncover the stars if you want to dream.
I won’t ask permission, not from the heavens, not from God.
Because in all of this, there’s only you and I.

I’ll give you time, all that I have.
And everything that’s necessary, if there’s a wait.
I’ll walk by your side, strongly, in all your paths.
And I’ll sit by you if you have to rest.
I’ll take you by the hand, if need be,
you’ll only need to hold on tight and keep going.
I’ll hide my tears to make yours disappear.
I know you don’t want that, but can you blame me?
I’ll always have a smile, here, just for you.
And if it doesn’t come, I’ll go searching for it for you.
I’ll challenge the world, when necessary.
And I’ll even challenge myself, if it’s not enough.
And if I could, I’d take all the bad,
and I’d be the cure that makes it all go away.
I’ll think of you, or better yet, of us.
Because just one of your smiles simply… Is Worth It.
